Here are 5 great
reasons why your teacher deserves a thank you gift.
1) Teachers are
one of the most crucial figures in our children’s lives,
supporting nurturing and inspiring them every single day. So it’s important to say ‘Thank You’ for being not
only an amazing teacher but for all that they do throughout the year for your
child and their class.
2) Teachers deserve it
– After all they spend more time with your child each day than you do!
3) It teaches your
child to show gratitude for all that their teachers have done for them
throughout the year.

A cathartic day together last week spring cleaning our website out and dreaming up new best sellers. With the help of Natalie’s Father she happens to have accumilated the most amazing collection of vintage stamps. So we dreamt up a new inital design, that would be made from a collage of stamps, all on a particular theme! A perfect gift for the bloke/Dad in your life! We had fun grouping them into car, sport, sailing and fishing categories. More images to come as they fly off the press! Just had a commission in today for a surname in the copper letters so it was worth creating this new inital design last month. We will post pictures of the final artwork when we have found a big enough frame!
January and February are our months for reassessing our products, working on fresh new work and looking to the future. We’ve been busy, cropping photographs and writing heaps of to do lists! Natalie and I have had 2 day long meetings egging each other on, cringing at more ancient designs we have finally put to rest and planning a Papercut contemporary Fine Art Range which we are both veryexcited about and can’t wait to share with you…..
As the golden leaves dance away and colder days creep in, there is still plenty of time left for Christmas shopping (unlike many retailers we are not one for creating a panic!) All our designs make fabulous personalised gifts, and are often a little cheaper direct from us. The P&P is free in the UK and if you order soon you will have no problems in getting it in time for Christmas…phew!
Natalie and I spent a fabulous afternoon at The Renegade Craft Fair in Truman’s Brewery, Brick Lane, the standard of work was amazing and some very lovely ‘crafty’ people. Got carried away with the prints as per usual… and finished off with tea: scrambled eggs on toast and smoked salmon in our favourite French cafe Chez Elle’s .
Here’s a board of my festive ideas and the gorgeous painting byAndrea Letterie.
Plus from our new Christmas products: Our gorgeous ‘First Christmas Bauble’ which can double up as a nightlight holder and our ‘Personalised Baby’s First Christmas ‘ wooden heart…. check them out and order via our website!
18th October: our much overdue day out: Natalie and I met at Spittlefields in our usual spot ‘Patisserie Valerie’. Threw around ideas for new Christmas products, swapped tales of recent customers from both heaven and ….honest 90% from heaven! Aired our hopes and big creative dreams for the future. Then brushed ourselves down and wandered through the market’s monthly pop up vintage section and down into Brick Lane. Lunch at Chez Elles – Gorgeous French cafe for salad and a celebratory kir royale. Dropped into Etsy’s wee art exhibition, stumbled across this collection of graffiti in a side street. Finally a quick peek into a pop Gallery with some rather magical animals made of wire, a great inspirational day off thanks Nats!
We take delight in the little things in life, that go into making our personalised gifts so unique.
Working with you we will draw on our graphic skills and vast collection of vintage buttons and maps to create your beautiful bespoke gift.
A Contemporary framed artwork that celebrates someone very special and will be treasured forever!
